Elégance Chronographe

Skeleton Automatic Chronograph Ref:BB-1602-SP001

One idea which had been close to my heart since the launch of Basse Broye was to combine a collection of watches which means innovation, class, self-expression and individuality with the art of horological complication. Complications are for me truly the pinnacle of a designer’s expertise and watchmaker’s skill.

A more classical timepiece in style and historical in taste with black partial dial and innovative and unique carbonated black alligator strap

Circumstances and events regularly cause us to measure a fixed amount of time between two actions.  The chronograph an indispensable instrument. It was invented by two watchmakers from the Vallée de Joux, Henri-Féréol Piguet and Adolphe Nicole, who devised and created the system. The Basse Broye Chronograph is a wrist watch which rewinds automatically. The movements of the wearer’s wrist generate the energy required for it to function.  The kinetic energy is supplied by an oscillating mass. It gradually winds up the spring barrel, the spring accumulates energy that is then transmitted to the watch movement. The maximum power reserve is reached after a period of time varying from several hours to some days,

Complications In watchmaking, a ‘complication’ refers to a specific function that is complex to design, develop, and manufacture. Typical complications on a mechanical watch with a high complexity level are, for example, the much talked-about tourbillon, minute repeater or a chronograph. This type of work is basically performed by artisans we call watchmakers, creating small miracles (by hand) that illustrate the most precious thing to its wearer. The Basse Broye Elégance Chronographe has two complications. The Chronograph which is described and explain in the educational movie provided by the Foundation for Haute Horlogerie. We added a second complication in form of an elegant Bordeaux colored desecrate 31-day central hand indicator.
